Axa Valeria Pineda Madrigal
Hello teacher and classmates!
My name is Valeria and I am a student of Labor Security and Environmental Protection Engineering in Ulacit university. I live in Heredia and I am about to finish my studies, I have eight courses left.
I currently work in a call center providing service desk support at La Aurora, Heredia. I've been doing this for almost two years. It is very tiring because my working shift starts really early, but at the end of the day I like helping people in other countries (as long as they are not mad).
I am taking this course because it is part of my studying plan. However, so far I have liked it a lot! What I like the most is the way our group has been in the previous two classes. I feel an environment of respect among us, which makes me feel comfortable even being a little shy.
What I expect of this course is to learn a lot about how globalization can affect or en-better our development as individual citizens and also as a country. In addition, the conditions how other regions work is a very interesting topic to learn about.
Finally, about myself, I would say I am not very outgoing at the first time. However, I like getting in touch with new people and know about their likes and way of thinking. I love going to the movies and do new and different things :)
I really hope this to be a very good quarter for all of us and to keep a good relationship among us.
